Provides the highest efficiency of conversion of RNA to cDNA, fully optimised for qPCR applications.
- Optimised for real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) application;Produces cDNA in 15 min with linear detection from 3 pg to 3 µg total RNA
- Creates up to 12 kb cDNA in 25 min or less
- Available as a first-strand synthesis kit and a two-step QRT-PCR master mix format
The AffinityScript qPCR cDNA Synthesis Kit offers efficient conversion of RNA to cDNA. Fully optimised for real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) applications, the kit utilises our qPCR-grade AffinityScript Multiple Temperature Reverse Transcriptase. It includes a buffer system optimised for real-time qPCR.
The streamlined protocol produces cDNA in 15 minutes with linear detection from 3 pg to 3 µg of total RNA. The easy-to-use process generates up to 12 kb cDNA in 25 min or less. Available as a first-strand synthesis kit and a two-step QRT-PCR master mix format, using SYBR Green or probe-based detection.
The AffinityScript Multiple Temperature cDNA synthesis kit contains Agilent’s popular, highly thermostable, qPCR-grade AffinityScript Multiple Temperature Reverse Transcriptase for robust yields, from 37 to 60 °C, with nearly full activity between 45 to 55 °C. With the AffinityScript multiple temperature cDNA synthesis kit, Agilent offers enzymes with a broad thermal profile.
The Agilent AffinityScript Multiple Temperature Reverse Transcriptase (RT) system is optimised to produce high cDNA yields over the broadest temperature range. During analysis the multi-temp RT device also ensures high affinity to primer-template complexes. cDNA can be synthesised in amounts up to 20 kb.
The system’s multi-temperature capability allows you to change RT reaction temperature without having to change the reverse transcriptase, for a faster and more efficient analysis. In addition, when amplifying low RNA input amounts and resolving RNA secondary structures it delivers high cDNA yields, and can operate effectively at temperatures up to 55 °C.
