Semi-automatic homogeniser ideal for tough tissue that is difficult to homogenise. For gentle homogenising of sensitive biological samples and tough tissue.
- High-torque drive-unit, up to 3000 rpm
- Vibration-free with robust 3 support construction
- Convenient cooling of the samples with ice
- Homogenising without much effort
Supplied complete with speed-stabilised drive-unit and universal quick-grip chuck, transparent cooling vessel, 1000 ml, made from clear polycarbonate, with screw-cap and clamping adapter for the cantered positioning of homogenising vessels of different sizes.
Highly stable and vibration-free due to robust 3-support-construction. High torque drive unit makes it very suitable for use a low speeds. Electronic rotational speed control variable from 40 to 3000 rpm.
Reproducible homogenising thanks to constant rotational speed, which is shown on an easy to read 4-digit LED-display. The fast-action clamping chuck with hollow shaft permits fast and easy replacement of the pestle and permits use of pestles with longer shafts. We highly recommend the use of a quick-grip clamp for glass pestles to minimise lateral burdening of the glass shaft. Clamping adapters of the cooling vessel suitable for EPPENDORF® test tubes and homogeniser vessels with outer diameter of 10 to 40 mm. Handy cooling of the samples by ice, which can easily be filled into the cooling vessel after opening the screw cap.
The homogenising vessel is tightly clamped and moved up and down together with the table and the cooling jacket. The long lever facilitates thorough homogenising without much effort.
The unit can also be supplied modified for use under a sterile workbench when operating with infectious substances.
