Desiccator plates are used in vacuum drying and degassing procedures. The perforated plates are non-combustible even at maximum vacuum. Glazed on one side, plates will not soften. With a strong chemical resistance, ceramic-porcelain models work with the difficult reagents. Also temperature resistant, the reusable desiccator plates can be autoclaved to sterilize.
