Beschreibung: 3,3′-Diaminobenzidine tetrahydrochloride hydrate has been used in immunohistological staining procedure and <i>in situ</i> hybridisation. DAB (3,3′-Diaminobenzidine) is utilised in many applications for the visualisation of peroxidase activity. In the peroxidase reaction, DAB serves as a hydrogen donor in the presence of peroxide. The oxidised DAB forms an insoluble brown end-product for use in immunohistological and immunoblotting staining procedures.
